Thematics and ESG in Investing in Emerging Markets

The thematic stuff, definitely interesting. I think mostly driven by advisors need to have stories to talk to their clients about. The ones where I only want to invest in Republican or Democratic companies seem to be more emotional and history has told us emotions are the enemy of good investing. But that's what all that is. All that anti-woke investing stuff, that's applying these sort of emotional labels about the world to our investments. And I'm with you. I don't think that that makes a ton of sense. We'll talk a bit about ESG in the next segment.
