I didn't expect to feel more connected. I was like, okay, it's surgery. There'll be a recovery. But I didn't expect the connection that I got from this. A lot of surgeons who are doing breast implants are only seeing the outcome of people who have wanted that. They're not seeing people who maybe six months or a year down the track don't feel like they identify with their own body anymore because of this implant. It would be very hard to go through this journey without asking yourself the big questions around who am I? And what am I doing here? What is my actual purpose here as well?
