The Soviet Union's Plan to Kill Britain in the Cold War

In the early Cold War, the plan was that the prime minister and his advisors would flee to the west country. There was a huge underground bunker in Wiltshire called Burlington. Instead of sending everyone of importance to this one bunker, the opposite approach was taken. This was known as the Python plan - let's scatter everyone around Britain.
