The Problem With the Polygraph Test

The search for Travis Walton ended with a complete lack of any evidence that could point towards foul play. Mike Rogers was approached by the sheriff's office during the fourth day of searching and told that he and the rest of the crew were required to take a polygraph test. The police had absolutely no evidence to back up their suspicions. This left police who apparently placed a lot of faith in the results of these tests in somewhat of a predicament as they really had no leads to pursue. Unless you're prepared to count the proposed aliens as witnesses, and even if you are, they seem to have very little interest in sharing their version of events.
