The Differences Between Magic and Science

St. Paul says that magic and science are working with the same forces it's just that science tends to suggest that past a certain point most forces are negligible. A ceremonial magician is going to think that the place of Jupiter in the sky will exert a force just as much not as much as the moon but of the same quality. The scientist is aiming always at reduction at reducing the number of causes bearing on any given situation so we can isolate the main cause. But magicians work holistically again is trying to engage with all of the different forces in the universe including ones that we were apt to think of as negligible like for example the position of Jupiter inthe sky.
