Post War Recipes - I Love the War Time Christmas Cake
After the war, many women were desperate to get back t the kitchen. So i find it quite a difficult era from a froed point of view. I'm going to plump for a banana plum pudding, because i love bananas. And we can't do christmas without having a proper plum pudding. It's a recipe i found in a book by elizabeth cray called banana dishes. But actually it's the shiniest plum pudding ive ever come across. Mes is, all the others that i tasted were kind of dull and and pudding like. Kislver, so you poor lighted bran over them and nobody cares.
