Michael Mobison: I think some people naturally think this way more than others and it's not a good thing or a bad thing necessarily. For me the very distinct event was visiting the Santa Fe Institute. A lot of the most vexing problems in the world really lie at the intersection of disciplines. While you need to understand big ideas from each discipline you really want to bring a full toolbox all these kinds of problems.
