What Is Economically Left but Culturally Moderate?
Jacobin: What does it even mean to be economically left but culturally moderate, or even culturally conservative? For some progressives, this particular political orientation raises alarm bells and conjures an image of a blue collar white guy who has regressive views on race and gender. But the truth is that economically left and culturally moderate describes a significant number of americans. And it's not necessarily the people that progressives automatically suspect.
