FDR and the Great War

FDR was an internationalist he had been a will saunian. He supported Woodrow Wilson's efforts to establish a League of Nations with American membership after the first world war. FDR believed that the United States had to play an active role in world affairs because of the rise of dictators Hitler actually takes power in Germany four weeks before FDR becomes president. The problem is for FDR in the 1930s he's a leader without followers in foreign policy.
