The Fed's Expectations for a Low Inflation Report Are Dangerously Strong
I am very startled and impressed by how strong the numbers are. I would be stronger than this, I think it was very good. If you look at the Cleveland Fed, trim to me, all these cunning measures of inflation we all now learn to use, over the last three months it's been running at less than 2%. So there are very few flies on this number. It's a genuinely very encouraging number.
