The Cosmo Polytères of the World

This is one of my favourite characters, Magasini's. He never makes it into pretty much any undergraduate classics degree. It shows you which bits of the Greek and Roman worlds we're interested in talking about. This was also the era where this chap down here in the barrel at the bottom of the picture this is Diogenes the cynics sitting back in Athens. The guy who defecated in the agarar and masturbated in the theatre just because I can.
