Somerset's Chris Arkel returned to first-class cricket after 14 years. He was declared absent hurt at number 11 with the match tied at 104 for nine. timed out didn't exist as a dismissal until 1980. The MCC were asked for clarification in time on a fashion and said he'd taken too long to come to the middle. But you know, maybe they... Maybe they could have given him time to see if Harold could make another duck that helped add a run for his team.
