In the months following the discovery of Cura, around 50,000 tips are made to crime sappers. But even despite these thousands of tips coming into crime stoppers, the case goes cold again for years and years. One of the investigative measures taken by the task force back in the day was to set up secret security cameras. The girls were all getting taken in almost the exact same spot, so they figured this guy felt comfortable coming back to this area over and over.
