How My Dad and Mom Never Made a Living on the Farm

I was just four when mom and dad bought this farm in 1961. We grew all our own food and milked a couple milk cows, you know, had their own eggs. My chicken business kind of grew and I grew with it into my teens. Today, today, we have about 22 of us that make a full time living here on the farm.
