How to Invest in Index Funds

There's supposedly about a thousand companies in the United States that sell stock directly. You don't have to go to your brick and mortar brokerage. The company's like, we're not going to charge any fees because you're giving us money for our stock. And you are just kind of building up a portfolio on your own. If you've got a few hundred bucks maybe, you could consider something called an index fund.
