The Nokor Companions of the Bo'ol Class
The bo'ol class was considered far above the enslaved classes of most settled civilizations. Rather than chattel, they were often treated as part of the family and achieved de facto freedom even without formal many mission. A nokor companion could come from any of the social strata, from nobility with a taste for adventure or a particularly strong tie to another of their ilk. It is into this complex swirling and violent array of forming and fracturing family and clan dynamics that we must begin our tale.
