Criminal Contempt of Congress - Is That Fair?

The purpose of the criminal contempt statute is tocreate a punishment for non co operation with congress. If someone is prosecuted cessfully for a criminal contempt, it does not necessarily mean that they then automatically have to turn over the information that congress is seeking. There's no guarantee that even under a successful prosecution, however long that might take, we can talk about time here too.
