How Does Theranos Get FDA Approval for Nanotainers?
A former employee alleges that some of the potassium results from their machines were so high that patients would have to be dead for the results to be correct. A nurse at Walgreens claimed that she saw abnormal results in potassium and thyroid tests as well. About a dozen doctors and nurses complained about test results from late 2013 to 2014. Their $350 million deal crashed and burned, and even Walgreen said they would not open any new Theranos blood testing centers untilTheranos resolved questions about their technology.
