Operative Options for Club Feet in Children
Operative options for club feet include postero medial, soft tissue release and tendon lengthening. Ostiatome or cuboid decancellation is often combined with initial surgical club foot release in children more than two to three years old. Multiplaner super malolar ostiotomy is considered a savage procedure in older children who have failed conventional operative management. Triple arthurdesis is almost never indicated, and is actually contra indicated in insensate feat due to the rigidity and resultant alteration.
