The Debt Ceiling and the White House's Negotiation Tool
The White House posture has always been we're not negotiating over this. Speaker McCarthy's tact has been to use this as a negotiating tool. There is some bit some thought there could be a short term solution. But there's grave concern here. This won't get done.
