Cone Beam CTA for Prosthetic Arteries
The majority of the patients I'm doing cone beam CTA just on the table prior to the procedure. Unless there's a patient I'm particularly concerned about, if I think they have bad atherosclerotic disease for some reason, or if there's some other vascular issue that I'm concerned about, I will get a CTA. And so that's kind of my practice these days. We came up with acone beam CTA protocol. That allowed us to basically get the same CTA information, but do it on thetable prior to the actual procedure. It reduced some added expense.
