Saudi Arabia and OPEC Plus, Russia and Russia - What's the Point?

Saudi Arabia and OPEC plus, meaning Russia with OPEC, not only did they deny the request of Joe Biden to increase production, they are decreasing it. Just basically the strategy is make fossil fuels so expensive that people will think you're doing them a favor by forcing them to buy electric cars. You know, it's amazing when you unilaterally disarm. I find this whole thing humiliating.
