Republicans and Democrats alike over the past 40 years are actually, let's see, 30, 25 years when I left Congress, there was actually a balanced budget. And we're talking about paying off the debt. Now we're over $31 trillion in New York Times reports a couple of days ago. But what we'd always say is, fortunately, interest rates are at historic lows.
