Ibram Kendi tweeted a partial quote from In Slaver's Defended Slavery. He claimed that the enslaved people developed skills that could be applied for their personal benefit. The two words in quote are positive good for black people. I don't think anybody said that. Wouldn't you assume he's quoting an actual person who said slavery was a positive good? You would assume that, right? Remember what followed the rule: It's a partial quote, it involves a public figure.
