What Happened to the Tempelars in Italy?

The templers of Wales and scotland were sent back to england for absolution. The ones who abduer or swore off heresy were sent off to do penance in monastery so effectively they were moved to new religious orders but they had to keep their templar vows. After a few years the pope allowed them to join another templar another house if they wanted to um in our goal they seem to be allowed to go back to their templars houses and stay there.
