The last thing that happens in this story of first samuel, before we to morrow jump into the gospel of john, is tha people ask for a king. And it is also talk about rejection. We're praying now for all those who have loved ones who have turned away from the lord and walked away from the church. That can be the most devastating thing, again, in our lives.
