The Joys of Being Contented
As an infant, hymn writer Fanny Crosby was blinded due to the negligence of a man claiming that he had medical knowledge. Yet as an eight-year-old she expressed her resolve to be content despite total blindness. She said: Oh, what a happy soul am I, although I cannot see. And now, can you imagine the freedom and content that would bring you in your life?
