The Cities of Refuge

Cities of refuge were chosen by Moses so that the man's layer who has killed any person unintentionally may flee there. They were close enough to where if he needed to flee there, then he could get there as quickly as possible. The problem was in this particular culture, not just the Israel that culture, but in that culture in general across all the various countries. It was understood culturally speaking to be my responsibility to take revenge for his blood.
