There was a hope and almost savior like adulation of the figure of Lula that this election was going to finally bring sanity back to our democracies. And lo and behold, just like in the United States and elsewhere, we're not seeing the whole scale eviction of these characters. But it's also true that some of them lost and were not elected in this election. Some of the secrets will be there and in the San Nate is horrible. It will be there for eight years.
