Uber's Algorithm Overestimated the Cost of a Regular Taxi
Uber has admitted that its algorithm over estimated the cost of a regular taxi booked through the urber ap, which made uber's own rid share drivers look like better value than they really were. The court didn't agree with that, and it sent the case back for penalties, which have just come in at forty four point seven million dollars.
