Decarbonization of electricity, passenger cars and winter heating in homes and buildings is definitely advancing in many parts of the world. He says fossil fuel demand is going to evolve closer to the slower of one of the IEA scenarios. And if that's the case, it would be premature to rely on renewable energy from more than it is organically capable of providing.
