Foreign Aid Makes Me Feel Patriotic

If you were offered an advantage to a terribly blighted and poor country that would make an immense difference to their people's lives, then i'd probably guess that's what foreign aid is about. And then i'd be perfectly comfortable, in fact, quite strangely, in favour of the idea of giving that chunk of change or that advantage to a different country. But that would make me feel patriotic. This isn't confusing enough, foreign aid makes me feeling patriotic. Foreign aid makes me feel proud of my country. Because it helps those living here not being in poverty.
