The nonprofit received a July 29 determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service which stated the group's effective date of tax exemption was December 29th, 2021. They've received six legal service contracts from the Department of Justice that carried start dates of September 1st according to records. The multi-million dollar contracts began just months after the under the radar nonprofit received a $40 million contract with the federal government.
