Can the IRS Expansion Pass the Rules Committee?
Last August, they passed the expansion of the IRS, which basically gave them a pot of money. All this bill does is say, you can't spend 1.4 billion of that this year with respect to the IRS expansion. The only thing in the statute is 1.4billion out of the 80 billion that was given to the IRS to expand and their current budget stays most likely the same once you go through appropriations.
