The S&P 500 has delivered positive average annual returns of 910% each year for the last 43 years. But when people are five years away from retiring, what's your guide in terms of how they should be considering allocating their retirement income portfolios? Well, that is going to depend on a whole lot of factors. One of the things I used to very often recommend was sometimes 100% inequities and I said well this is a great thing to do when you're accumulating. Sure. But right now you have more than enough. Why not cool your jets now why not act the way that you're actually positioned to act.
