Is Testing Still a Disaster?
In the absence of widely available rapid tests, what you might do instead is just a judge how you feel, or take your own temperature to check whether you've got a fever. The fda problems have stemmed from a regulating these types of rapid antigen tests as if they are medical diagnostic tools. I'm not sure why there wasn't an institutionally pivoting way to change those regulations. There are some congressmen looking at a kind of reform that would give people more information about their health status.
