The Future of Machine Learning

I've been told by so many people in Silicon Valley to give up on this idea. At the same time, I'll talk to some of my friends on Google who will say, thank goodness you're doing that because we need competition right now. Because when you understand computation loops forever, it can be infinitely large and it can micro detail you. So diversity can be a competitive weapon against Silicon Valley. Absolutely. There are kinds of diversity, age diversity, culture diversity. It's such a powerful thing. But how are you going to convince the most powerful companies in the world that diversity is important when they're killing it? That's why I don't think that's possible.
