The Atlantis Myth
Almost every culture world wide, pretty much as far as i know, has has a lost city under the sea. The connection between earthquakes and the sea is really intimate in greek myth. Penthessalea is the daughter of ares, the war god em. And indeed, the romans myth was just history. That hammed long ago, and had therefore got dragons in it. There's r a lovely moment in plutarch where he says all these stories seem quite contradictory, but they would do because they're really ancient history. This is a really old story, you can he ok? Why not?
