The New York Times has a history of giving platforms to people that go along with the party line. They've actually awarded these people Pulitzer Prizes, right? I'll give you an example of Walter Girardi. In 1932, Drawto received a Pulitzer Prize for a series of reports about the Soviet Union. He was later criticized for his subsequent denial of the widespread famine of 1930 and 1933 in the USSR. It only it took until the 1990s for the Wall Street, sorry, for the New York Times to finally admit their mistake.
