Is Acceleration Exactly the Same as Gravity?

Gravity is essentially like a geometrical interpretation of acceleration. When you have mass in space, it changes the curvature of that space. And so what happens then is that things move differently and they can appear to be accelerating. So gravity and acceleration really are exactly the same phenomenon.
