The Chinese Communist Party Are Getting Old Before It Gets Rich

Many of the actions that the Chinese Communist Party are taking though appear to make their own position less viable. They've got a very rapid demographic decline, you've got empty cities, as I understand it. You've got sky high private sector debt and truly amazing public sector debt. None of this seems to me to portend China's inexorable rise, rather the opposite.
