How I Learned to Succeed in Public Speaking
I've been teaching public speaking for over 15 years, which means 15 years of learning from the people I work with who come to me with different situations. Then I've had the opportunity to study with communication experts such as David Gurgen at Harvard University. As a lecturer at the Harvard Kennedy School, I have access to academic research on different issues. And there are some very interesting research studies that I point to in the book. So it's a combination of anecdotes, 15 years of experience, studying with experts, and also researching,. reading a lot of research on the latest trends within public speaking and ancillary topics.
