The Importance of Types and Anti-Types

Every time you see something foreshadowing Christ, or redemption, the sacrificial system, whatever it is, the fulfillment, the reality is always greater than the shadow. So every time these things are realized in their reality, they expand and become greater. The message of Hebrews is not that there was something necessarily inherently wrong with the Old Testament, but rather that it was insufficient.
