The Global Coal Fleet - What Pipes Have Dried Up?
If we want to hit our 1.5 degree sea climate target, basically no new coal can be built and the existing coal fleet needs to retire rapidly. So probably 2023 will be the first year that the global coal fleet starts to shrink. We're living through peak coal plant. I think everybody would like to see the decline much faster but that doesn't seem to be happening.
