Grady Judd: The Sheriff of Polk County
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is a white man in his mid-60s. He wears glasses and a green uniform with his Sheriff star pinned to his chest. His deputies chased someone suspected of killing a police officer into the woods and shot him dead. In 2006, Judd was asked why deputies fired 68 bullets into the suspect. That's all the bullets we had, or we would have shot him more, he said.
