Is Nefatiti a Pharaoh?

At the end of achenaton's reign, a female pharaoh called nepenefraton appears as his co ruler. The question has always been, who is that female pharaoh and why did she hold power in her own right? i'm interested to hear aden's views on it. Over to joyce, i would say it differently. I agreed soly with aden that there is a very prominent royal woment woman there. And we don't know who she is. But i would interpret her as being nepetite's daughter, mary tarton. We do have an image of her standing with her husband, because all the rest are circumstantial.
