The Importance of Operating Knowledge in Private Equity

MOTIV has a relatively unique operating model, which we refer to our I-O-I model. We combine investing with operating and innovating capabilities within the firm. Motive is using essentially everything I learned through the course of an admittedly long career. So really it's the operating knowledge that I had whilst working at JP Mong and the entrepreneurial and innovation knowledge I picked up as a CEO of a startup that I'm now using as an investor at MOTIV.
