The Impact of Sanctions on the Russian Economy
Vladimir Putin is trying to push back at what they call a Cold War mindset or block, so namely US military alliances and sanctions. This year would be particularly vulnerable for Putin because government is running out of money; this is when he's needing Chinese support the most. China is providing something at the bare minimum actually to make Russia hold on. But they are not like throwing their full weight to save Putin also economically.
