The Comforting Power of Fear, Love and Trust in God
LZ Granderson: We don't live in a world where we can either be standing in the white or in the black. LZ: The things that Jacob and Esau struggled with, their fights, their jealousies, their deceptiveness all of this is the same stuff that we experience in our own existence day to day. Despite over and over and over, the Jacob ends up being this trickster that he nevertheless is loved by God,. LZ: Ultimately, Jacob is righteous, not righteous in and of himself, but righteous because he has faith in the seed that was promised back to Adam and Eve - the Messianic seed.
