The New Rules of Chinese Diplomacy

The Chinese stepped in sort of elbow us out of the way and got in the middle of Saudi Arabia or Iran. So they did the kind of thing that the United States traditionally has been very good at, which is playing people off. If people want to deal with the Iran problem, they're going to have to deal with China as part of that. It's a different world.
